Measurement & industrial-data technology

Measurement, made legible.

AIT builds the software that turns raw sensor data into decisions on the shop floor. ProSense One, our flagship, reads S4P Datalogger devices live and makes every measurement legible — on Mac, iPad and Windows.

The flagship — ProSense One

One app for every measurement suitcase.

S4P Datalogger devices capture temperature, humidity and airflow across a paint line. ProSense One finds them on the network, streams their readings live, and turns saved runs into charts you can actually read — no export dance, no spreadsheet gymnastics.

What ProSense One does

From a device on the network to a decision you can defend.

Live monitoring

Watch a measurement unfold in real time. Readings stream straight from the device and render as you record.

  • Real-time WebSocket streaming through a native Rust core
  • Start and stop measurements with clear, unambiguous states
  • Automatic reconnect and data recovery after backgrounding

Run analysis

Browse every run on the device SD card, pull it down, and read it as an interactive chart with pan, zoom and tooltips.

  • Per-channel statistics: min, max, average, standard deviation
  • German-format CSV parsed natively — no locale surprises
  • Download with a progress bar you can cancel; grab a run as a ZIP

Charts that hold up

Half a million samples, still smooth. MinMaxLTTB downsampling keeps the shape of the signal while the canvas stays responsive.

  • uPlot canvas rendering with MinMaxLTTB downsampling
  • Pan and zoom across long recordings without lag
  • Export any chart as a PNG

Data labeling

Mark zones on a run and let ProSense One suggest thresholds from the data itself. Export a clean, structured dataset.

  • Median-based threshold suggestions per channel
  • Zone detection for repeatable paint-line profiles
  • Dataset export ready for downstream training

Offline by default

Downloaded runs live in a local SQLite store. Open, chart and compare them with no network in sight.

  • Run metadata and files persisted locally in SQLite
  • Full offline viewing of anything you have downloaded
  • Import local CSV files for analysis via the file dialog

Safe on the line

The app knows when a measurement is active and refuses to do anything that could corrupt it.

  • Destructive operations blocked during an active measurement
  • USB Mass Storage toggle behind an explicit safety confirmation
  • Connect by mDNS discovery or by typing the device IP directly

How it works

Four steps, start to signed-off run.

  1. 01

    Discover

Open ProSense One on the same network as the suitcase. It finds every S4P Datalogger by mDNS, or connect by IP if you prefer.

  2. 02

    Monitor

Start a measurement and watch temperature, humidity and airflow stream in live, charted the moment they arrive.

  3. 03

    Analyze

Pull saved runs off the device, read them as interactive charts, and check per-channel statistics at a glance.

  4. 04

    Label & export

Mark zones, accept suggested thresholds, and export a structured dataset — or a CSV, PDF, Excel or PNG.

One codebase, every platform

Built once, in Rust and React.

ProSense One is a single Tauri 2 application: a React and TypeScript interface over a native Rust core. That is why device discovery, CSV parsing and half-million-sample charts feel the same whether you are on a Mac at the desk or an iPad on the line.

About AIT

We make measurement legible.

AIT AG is a Swiss engineering company and part of the S4P group. We build the software layer between industrial measurement hardware and the people who have to act on what it records.

Our focus is narrow on purpose: take the raw output of a device on a line and turn it into something a process engineer can read, trust and export in seconds. ProSense One is that idea, shipped.
